These terms apply whenever you visit SubsidenceSurveys.co.uk or submit an enquiry through the site. By continuing to use the site you accept them. If anything below does not work for you, please do not submit an enquiry.
SubsidenceSurveys.co.uk is an introducer / lead-matching service. We do not carry out surveys, monitoring, investigations or engineering reports ourselves. When you submit an enquiry, you are asking us to pass your details to one or more qualified specialist firms in your area who may then contact you by phone, email or SMS about your enquiry.
Any contract for survey or report work is formed directly between you and the specialist firm you choose to engage. That firm, not this website, is responsible for the scope of work, the fee, the deliverable, the timetable, the professional indemnity cover and the complaints procedure for the work itself.
We take reasonable care to introduce specialists who appear to us to be reputable, appropriately qualified and insured for the type of work requested. We do not, however, give any warranty as to the price, accreditations, insurance position, conduct or outcome of any individual specialist firm. You should satisfy yourself, before instructing anyone, that they hold the qualifications and insurance that matter to you.
By submitting an enquiry you confirm that the property concerned is one you own, or one you have permission to enquire about, and that the details you have given are accurate to the best of your knowledge. You consent to those details being passed to one or more qualified specialist firms covering your area, who may then contact you about the enquiry. How those details are handled is set out in our Privacy Notice.
When you use this website you agree not to:
Nothing on this site is intended to imply that you are contracting with, endorsed by, or accredited under any manufacturer scheme, trade body or certification organisation unless that relationship is explicitly described elsewhere and can be evidenced. References to industry bodies (such as RICS or IStructE) describe the qualifications of specialists in the network, not a corporate endorsement of this website.
The text, photographs, layout and code that make up this website are owned by the operator or by parties from whom we have licensed them. You are welcome to read the guides and link to them. You may not copy substantial sections, rebadge them on another site, or use them to train a competing service.
The guidance on the site is general information and not a substitute for a paid professional opinion on your specific property. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses you suffer because you relied on the guidance pages, because the site was temporarily unavailable, or because of work carried out by any specialist firm you choose to engage.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where the law does not let us, in particular for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.
The handling of any personal details you enter into the site is covered by our Privacy Notice.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one shown on this page, with the "last updated" date at the top.
These terms, and any dispute arising from your use of the site, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
